A Once In A Lifetime Experience
The real kudos goes to Briscoe though. My children and wife are not great swimmers. He personally guided them around the reef. They went from extremely uncomfortable to having the time of their life. This was really one of our best days. Thanks Briscoe!!!Michael Martinez
The personal service you will get is unmatched by ANY tour group around. You will do your vacation EXACTLY how you want but with the expertise of someone that’s familiar with the area so all your timing and needs are met. Shaun made everything perfect and I mean perfect!
The personalized service is top notch. This is not some boring tour where they treat you like a random tourist. Briscoe makes sure that you are enjoying yourself and having a great time.Joshua Greenrock

TULUM RUINS & OPEN AIR CENOTE ADVENTURE
The ancient Mayan city of Tulum is a breathtaking side by side display of both natural beauty and thousands of years of history showcasing the ingenuity and forward thinking of the Mayan civilization. The contrast of the turquoise surf crashing against the aged grey stone outlined by the vibrant green jungle brings together nature’s beauty and ancient history like few other places in the world can. The scenery you experience today in Tulum, thousands of years after it’s sudden and mysterious abandonment is so beautiful that it’s almost impossible to imagine the view that would have greeted you upon entering the ancient archways into the 13th century bustling port city when it was in its prime. The stone masonry that Tulum is built with was once painted with a palette of vibrant colors from the natural resources found in the surrounding jungle of Tulum and its port was the busiest ever seen in this region of the world with canoes lining up as far as the eye could see.
In addition to witnessing the beauty of the ruins of Tulum, you’ll also get to swim and explore your choice of a number of incredible Cenotes located right nearby that once brought fresh water to the Mayan people and allowed the civilization to survive and flourish. The meaning of the word Cenote is “sacred well” and all who visit say it is an experience unlike any other. Swimming in these fresh water pools that have been a cornerstone for the Mayan people and the Yucatan region for thousands of years is an absolute must for any visitor to the Riviera Maya.

COBA RUINS & MAYAN UNDERWORLD CENOTE ADVENTURE
Coba is one of the largest Mayan ruins in the Yucatan with an amazing array of ancient structures that lets you experience what it must have been like to live in one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Stroll through the city and get a feel for how the ancient Mayans experienced daily living or go with some modern comfort and rent a bicycle to get around with speed and style. Coba is an absolute MUST on the list of any trip to the Yucatan and it is the only Mayan ruins site where you can climb to the top of an ancient pyramid and view the jungle canopy from a perspective like no other.
Swimming in the cavernous cenotes near Coba is a spiritual journey that takes you deep into the Mayan underworld to experience mother nature’s artwork at its finest. This incredible underground ecosystem is 100% unique to the Yucatan peninsula and has taken millions of years to develop. The Mayan Riviera contains over 10,000 Kilometers of underground rivers and pools that are all connected, many of which still remain uncharted and hidden by the dense jungle canopy even to this day. The underground network of Cenotes beneath the Mayan jungle were an important part of ancient Mayan culture. Not only was this underground network of fresh water pools critical to the survival of the ancient Mayan civilization, but the Mayans also believed these Cenotes to be a gateway to the afterlife and they were often used for sacrificial purposes to summon rain from the gods in times of drought.
PUERTO MORELOS SNORKELING, BEACH AND SMALL FISHING TOWN ADVENTURE
Visiting Puerto Morelos is taking a trip back in time to the real Mayan Riviera that existed long before Cancun and Playa Del Carmen were lined with expensive all-inclusive resorts and mobs of tourists. This small Mexican fishing village is nicknamed La Joya del Caribe (Jewel of the Caribbean) and is nestled quietly away right between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen, but remains unknown and unvisited by most tourists to this day.
Upon arriving you’ll be greeted by beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear aqua blue waters, and the charming shops and restaurants of the small town square. Sit back and relax while you enjoy the incredible Caribbean coastline in peace and tranquility with a bucket of Cervezas or your favorite island cocktail and let the gentle lapping of the Caribbean waves wash away all the stresses of home. When you’re done relaxing on the beach, try some fresh caught seafood prepared in the traditional Mayan way or go shopping in the quaint town square without any crowds. Next we’ll take you snorkeling in a protected national marine park off the coast that sees few tourists and contains incredibly vibrant coral and marine life you’ll never see in the normal tourist hotspots near the big resorts of Cancun and Playa.
ISLA MUJERES PRIVATE BOAT ADVENTURE
Isla Mujeres in Spanish means “The Island of Women”. The island’s name was given to it by the Spanish who first landed in the Yucatan and saw the many statues of female goddesses placed there by the Mayans. Ancient Mayans believed the island to be a spiritual place for women to go in order to enhance their fertility and increase their chances of having healthy offspring.
Today Isla Mujeres is a small, quaint island reminiscent of the Mayan Riviera that existed before all-inclusive hotels dominated the shoreline and swarms of tourists crowded the streets. The island itself is only 4 ½ miles long and less than a mile wide. With a population of less than 12,000, Isla Mujeres has a relaxing vibe with great shopping, wonderful restaurants and fun bars to suit any appetite. Isla Mujeres is also home to some of Mexico’s top rated beaches with soft white sand and clear turquoise water as far as the eye can see, and ample coral reef and marine life to explore while snorkeling.
Come join Explore Playa on an adventure to Isla Mujeres where you’ll have access to a private boat, beautiful beaches without all the crowds, amazing underwater life for snorkeling, and the unique and fun atmosphere of this small Caribbean island in the heart of the Yucatan peninsula.
